skwonk 873 Report post Posted August 12 I did actually purchase some needle point tweezers online yesterday but posted it in the wrong section. Today I bought bread; loaf, three cheese and jalapeno for the eating of as well as potatoes, some grown in England and some grown in Cornwall-land.

Muttley 387 Report post Posted August 14 (edited) Sorry, no earworms or views to share. I'll try harder I saw this on ebay, and thought it'd be a fun project It arrived yesterday in a small box, looks great, nice and cleam. Annoyingly though, no sheet to show what bit is what, or where parts go. For a cheappy Chinese knockoff, it snot bad Ok, i admit, the figurette was the seller 😃 Edited August 14 by Muttley

Gorby 1,681 Report post Posted August 16 I had a mysterious message earlier in the week.* An unselfish benefactor asked for my address as they wanted to send me a book on account of me being so fabulous.** Such a generous gift.*** Thanks Richard. *As I knew who it was from and what it was about it wasn't particularly mysterious, I'm just trying to make it sound more interesting than it is. ** The last bit is entirely fictitious. *** Perhaps he's not as Scottish as he makes out? 6

Thanks Richard. Cool! Have seen a couple of these kits made as post war civvie trucks and they looked really sweet. Wouldn't mind doing one myself in more colourful livery

There was one in the local breakers yard with a crane on the back in the '70's. Was a battered old black thing belching and farting its way around the scrap cars. Reminded me of something prehistoric.
