I did actually purchase some needle point tweezers online yesterday but posted it in the wrong section. Today I bought bread; loaf, three cheese and jalapeno for the eating of as well as potatoes, some grown in England and some grown in Cornwall-land.

Useless off topic fact of the day:
My current earworm is "Song of a Baker" by the Small Faces
Apologies for not being able to remember which thread the earworms are on

Sorry, no earworms or views to share. I'll try harder

I saw this on ebay, and thought it'd be a fun projectnNVYhr1.jpg

It arrived yesterday in a small box, looks great, nice and cleam. Annoyingly though, no sheet to show what bit is what, or where parts go. For a cheappy Chinese knockoff, it snot bad

Ok, i admit, the figurette was the seller 😃

I had a mysterious message earlier in the week.*

An unselfish benefactor asked for my address as they wanted to send me a book on account of me being so fabulous.**

kkOsjrz4I0-mp92X2LwW47fCvYNMUktde1L79s9d

Such a generous gift.***

Thanks Richard.

*As I knew who it was from and what it was about it wasn't particularly mysterious, I'm just trying to make it sound more interesting than it is.

** The last bit is entirely fictitious.

*** Perhaps he's not as Scottish as he makes out?

A birthday treat

As a wee boy I once got a run in one which had been demobbed and was being used as a breakdown truck.

Happy birthday!

Thanks Richard.

Cool!  Have seen a couple of these kits made as post war civvie trucks and they looked really sweet.
Wouldn't mind doing one myself in more colourful livery

There was one in the local breakers yard with a crane on the back in the '70's. Was a battered old black thing belching and farting its way around the scrap cars. Reminded me of something prehistoric.

Some moan about eBay, but there are bargains to be had, like a Revell 1:32 P-51D for £20 + shipping.

Afternoon Everyone :)

These, "just popping to the shop to get some paint" trips are getting a bit out of hand now :(

i recently did the 'custom tuned' 750.....nice kit, goes together with no drama apart from the decals which were gash, ended up using some from the spares box for the standard CBF750.............not seen the monkey bike around for a long time, wonder if they have recently reissued it?

Do my earworms now have their own section? If so please add The Faces ‘Ooh La La’ (specifically the twangy acoustic guitar riff) to my list.

I picked this up right before I came down sick and needed emergency surgery...good fun...not. I did get this for a cracking price though!
