I'm not a big fan of the modern cars but I do hope they do more classics.  ISYP,I wonder if Airfix are going to do more in 43rd, be an interesting departure from 32nd.

It would seems so: Hannants 1/43 kits Incidentally, it is that list that made me think 1/43 was an odd scale for kits rather than diecasts. Mad Steve 25,134
Too right Dave. The Model factory Hiro F1 kits have unbelievable detail. A friend of ours builds 43rd scale. At a push he manages 2 a year.

Mr Bowcat 525
Morning all :) I recently turned 50 so decided to treat myself to a new toy, with the intention of growing old ungraciously.

It would be great if they would all agree on one style of battery & charger. Never going to happen obviously. I have three different power tool chargers....all from Bosch.

Blue Noser 4,911
Club night again last night and I didnt intend to buy anything ...... but Dave, the keeper of the generously stocked Museum gift shop, suddenly announce a 25% discount on all kits older from 2022 or older, obviously wants to get some older stock shifted, so naturally I felt obliged to assist the cause. I am reading a book called 'The armed Rovers' about Beauforts and Beaufighters in the Med and N. Africa, very interesting book and really captures the immagination in both aircraft. I have a 1:48 Beaufighter, so fancied a Beaufort and apparently what better than the new Airfix 1:72 Beaufort! Â Edited September 21 by Blue Noser Fix the link!

Thatsmyboy 1,603
A complete, still sealed (well, its not sealed any longer) 1/72 Italeri ME-323 Gigant at a reasonable price!! I paid £45. I haven't seen one recently at anything less than a ton, with some as high as £135 - £150. It's one moderately huge model and, I'm delighted to finally get one Edited September 23 by Thatsmyboy

BlackMike Models 9,971
What have I done? Just gone and paid good money for the Revell 1:700 SMS König, not a wing in sight and the propellors are facing the wrong way! That's 2 floaty thing kits I have now. BlackMike Models 9,971
Ah normal service is resumed, my restock of Airfix Sea Kings has arrived and in with them was an Airfix Vintage Classic Beagle Basset 206 just for me. This will be added to my "Aircraft I have worked on" collection (or Aircraft I have slept inside of instead of working on collection!). Duncan B 1
Paul Brown 9,529
A score from the IPMS Brampton show. I've only had a brief gander, but it was enough to make me think that if you're in the market for a 1/48 Hurricane II then this is in a class of one.
