Paul Brown 7,762
I suppose taking a fellow club member who is currently pretty much housebound out on a trip to a model shop was never likely to end well in respect of GBH to the old debit card, but hey ho! As an aside, if you're ever in south west Suffolk, head into Long Melford and visit Model Behaviour, they're just off the main thoroughfare through the village (Little St Mary's) in St Catherine's Road. There's loads of tea shops in Long Melford, but we headed back to Sudbury and TTT Motorcycle Village to indulge our other passion. It's a warehouse type place with not only almost literally hundreds of second hand bikes, but also a very decent cafe area where all day breakfast was taken. A rather nice day out all in all.

So maybe it broke down and was destroyed by it's crew to stop it falling into the hands of the other side. Either way it's impossible to tell if it was in Russian or Ukraininan hands at the time as they both use Soviet era equipment, hopefully that is soon to change.

Sprocket 8,431
I'm getting my Finnish Brewster Buffalo Tommorrow, Jadlam Racing has never let me down, I'll dig into that as soon as it arrives, after my Thursday Morning 6k run of course. On order I have another classic ship Kit and book combination on the way. As you can see, the box is rip torn, so the collectors didn't bid on it, so I got it for a reasonable price as I'm building it. The parts are still sealed in the old poly bag. and it has made up shrouds...yes. The book is on it's way, and I'll give a brief on it in time. Felt like that when we bowled into Lidl in Crewe this morning(Mrs M likes the wine). Didn't speak the local lingo(Romanian/Polish/WHY,other Eastern European languages are available). It sounded like we'd arrived in an Eastern European town rather than one less than ten miles from The Towers.
