@Vaastav, ever thought about doing an Indian Army what-if with something like:

or

https://www.scalemates.com/kits/tamiya-35326-m1a2-sep-abrams-tusk-ii--157741

Or are you too much of a purist?

Well, I am a purist, but Leo 2a4 is possible (with some modifications) to look like an Arjun Mk.1 which is mostly German, part Russian and a little bit Indian.

This will eventually be converted back to the T10-1, the first of the Flankers.

I'll post an in box look later.

Afternoon Everyone :)

This was going cheap so rude not to buy it

Its kind of funny, because this kit wins the Mad Steve's most built bike award... I've built 5 of them, two for me, Matt Black and the Yoshimura X1 version, and three for other people, models of their own bikes :)

But I've still not built the Blue and Silver release on the box, so when I saw it cheap I just have to have it :)

It really is a stunning kit of stonking suzie

Edit - Thought I'd add two quick photo's...

First one in 2012 - Matt Black

Last one in 2016 - Naked Hayabusa

This 'ere:

s-l1600.jpg

To replace the one that got a pot-holing earlier in the year.

I'd had it repaired but it was still losing pressure every other week and vibrating at 60mph,but I thought it'd better be replaced before towing our tourer.

If I'd have gone to Bimmer it would have cost me just shy of £900(it's an 8.5J rear one,11" wide),that one cost me

very nearly £450 for a guaranteed non damaged refurbished one,but there's no vibration.

18" 8.5 J,about 11" inches across,takes a 255/35x18 tyre.

I think you’ll find 8.5J means the wheel is 8 ½ inches wide with a passenger car bead. The overall width of a 255 is about 10”.

Sorry pedant coming out there.

Lucky it didn’t shatter if there was vibration at 60. O.o

Morning Everyone

A can of NS7/NS7/NS7 Heat Resistant Paint (Black) (other colours were not available). The wood burner was looking a bit tatty so Memsahib clicked her fingers and said Fix! So off I trotted to Leroys to buy me a tin of NS7/NS7/NS7 Heat Resistant Paint (Black). 😬

I think the results of my hours of slaving away looks rather spiffy. 😬
