Less than a tenner!

I'm not sure what part of that picture is more disturbing.... that you have a large stuffed deer thingie in your garden, or that you have glassosaurus bones quite tastefully displayed on your patio eaves 😬

'Tisn't me. That's somebody in Greater Redneckland, otherwise known as Alberta. We've got those mountains there for a reason, you know.

Most of my customers will be able to enter this GB as the skinflint B's only ever spend a Tenner 🤡 (just kidding, only 50% really!).

Hmmm, I'm not sure I've got anything in the stash that cost less than a Tenner. Once upon a time I was a roughy toughy North Sea Tiger that earned squidjilions of £s, NOK and various other worthless currencies and single handedly paid for David Hannant's Roller so nothing from that Lifetime that I can think of. Now I'm an impoverished purveyor of "quality aircraft and military plastic kits" (it says that on my website so it must be true) so can't afford to buy kits for my own use at all!

I shall have a trawl through my Scalemates profile and see if I can locate something.

I just found an Airfix P1127 with a £2 price tag.

I was hoping that the pre decimalisation price tags on a couple would have survived but alas not.

What were you hoping for @RWG686 1/11d, 2/- or 2/6d?

I had a Frog Shackelton at 12/6 but it went east when the new ones came out.

Watch this space though.

Do gifts count, or does one have to factor in how much they cost the giver?

Less than a tenner!!  I'm in.

I'll dig into the historic stash - I reckon I've got 10-15 kits that'll come in under a tenner - combined, though whether I'll have time to build them all in the time available is questionable. 😣

Point of order, Mr Chairpersonage. Is 'under a tenner' actually £9.99 or less, or does it include the eponymous tenner of the proposed group build?

Nother point of order, Sub-Committee Chairhuman. Does the total include or exclude postage?

Do we have to include the cost of paint, glue, filler (you know who you are!) plus heating, lighting (winter build, init) and any intervening snacks and liquid sustenance?

Will spreadsheets be required, detailing total expenditure, for tax purposes?

Had three, well at (new fangled money) 0.99p (proper money 19/10d three farthing) each, it would have been rude not to, along with the Lanc, B-17..........Most have now been moved on :(
