so here we go for the vertical learning curve! Haven't built a bike since a revell easy rider style chopper when i was about 8 so this is going to be interesting.

For this one I wont be stripping chrome or other such funny business (last time i tried that I ended up with a melted aluminium pan!).

It will be one of the 2 red/white bikes but thats it. so on with the pics 20200725_131119.thumb.jpg.224adaa147914b96b5031bf3824c024d.jpg20200725_131231.thumb.jpg.35d568b5c5fe78b4b29df4efc251c975.jpg20200725_131245.thumb.jpg.000314e272f77ab41393ba1473da1917.jpg1037703721_20200725_131329(1).thumb.jpg.4fe61b6f2ec472c16fd7f9ba2985a3b3.jpg20200725_131257.thumb.jpg.c3732a8837fe969d0085be6098ca3482.jpg20200725_131342.thumb.jpg.69c07bc758ac90057e5ec16059c4b989.jpg20200725_131400.thumb.jpg.085858e558c6cd3fe8bfa1eef0147865.jpgNot sure about screwwing the thing together but hey ho

😁okay forgot about the forks...

you need to clean up the seams so either strip the chrome, or base coat it white primer. then paint the telescopic bits some shiny chrome colour and the fork bottoms either gloss aluminium (TS 17) or Titanum Silver

edit... your forks are orange, so chrome silver base and clear orange over that 😁

its actually metallic brown, but its almost impossible to get right even with the tamiya paint (x34 i think), but the clear orange over silver then flat cleared is quite a nice closeness i found. try it on a piece of runner first if you like.

Last big Yam I had a razz on before matey's R.1 was Fengo's FZR Thou Genesis, that went well but the

R.1 is summat else.

They do just shift the scenery well.

Good work Daz,that does look impressive.

Keep interested mate as I don't think this will be the last bike build i do, the engine is now in the frame, and the rear fairing is in as well just need to add the light, screwing it together helps no end. 20200728_184232.thumb.jpg.c611e1769c6644b9b41558535860f17c.jpg20200728_184213.thumb.jpg.e7f36f45a7453bb1743ff516c7a8fa48.jpg20200728_184221.thumb.jpg.4a2a810fdc667689d29e4d2f4d78780c.jpg20200728_184242.thumb.jpg.b1bed1c1ef24bf67552295d63738bc2a.jpg
