BALLOON DOG FULL INTERIOR KIT

Recommended Posts

Morning Everyone :)

So my Daughters were charged with buying their Dad a model for Christmas.... They know what I like to build, and so off they popped to the Model shop and after a good root around, they came home with this....

I love it... I would expect nothing less from my kids, and I think its brilliant.

Obviously its a full interior kit, with transparent and removable outer panels, AND, comes with the engine and all plumbing.... Bargain hey :)

I can feel the antici...pation building in you all..., so what do you get in the box?

26, (yes, 26!) finely moulded, pre-painted parts of the inside wotsits of a dog

2 exceptionally clear see through bits, (care must be taken with these as they are 'handed, may not appear as such to some folks, but they are)

And a couple of other clear bits , more about those later.

Extensive instruction sheet that stand up there with the best in the business....

Strangely though, no decals provided :(

Right then, lets get going....

Just check out the internal detailing on the engine and exhaust. The blue pipe you see to the left the where most of the little things that go missing in your house end up :) ( and I can hear the sniggering in the back, yeeeees, that thing on the far right is the poop chute

Seems like only minutes later that the entire internal frame, engine and propulsion system is all together

Now the sharp ones amongst you will notice, this dog appears to have its eyes embedded in its ears. Well, I have spent an exhaustive 5 minutes on google looking at balloon dogs and I can quite safely say that this is 100% correct for this version. I did think about opening up a thread to discuss this, but really, I just couldn't be arsed.

Next up, the exterior....

2 handed sides, and a little bag with 6 transparent parts in... Now funny story, those little pieces actually are in order and you shouldn't just rip the bag open and grab them out... so about 15 minutes of faffing around and you get them all in the right place.

Then you take them all off again, because you have to fit the interior in first

And finally, you fit the other side, and wallah....

And that was that....

I would whole heartedly recommend this to everyone, dog lovers especially (doesn't eat or wee on anything) and most definately for scaring small children when they try to flush their balloon animals down the toilet (you don't even want to know), but you all need to build one of these because its great fun and will put a smile on your dial...

Pip pip

Bloody hell the kennel clubs got a lot to answer for! o.O

I love that – made me laugh. When I saw you had this, I thought about getting something similar as a jokey present for my step daughter. When I saw the prices of them I changed my mind - a damn sight more than I've ever paid for a kit.

I just had a look on Amazon and the evilbay and the cheapest I found was £50 and that was the smaller balloon dog.

If someone rolled up at ours with that under their arm,I'd know they were taking the piff.

The pink "jet pipe" doesn't seem doesn't seem to line up with the outlet though,is this an optical illusion?

Different mate,I'll give your daughters that..........

What've you named it? "Wurstmaschine"? I know our last Jack Russell was one.............
