That looks stunning Paul. Now with the figures you can almost feel the arctic chill!

:respect:

I must admit it did make me think of cold weather climes when i saw it.

Sometimes people show dozens of photos of models that don't really warrant that degree of attention. I'd be happy to look at ten times the photos you've shown. Absolute stunner!

I bet you can't wait for bath-time so you can play with it.

Stunning Paul, the setting of your ship in these pictures has made it look even better.

2 years is a long time to devote to one model, well done for sticking with it, I know I would have put it to one side a long time ago.

I think the 1250 ish pictures in the “In Progress” section are more than enough 😂

Not far off, 23 months plus a 2 week break for the sci-fi build. I would guess my average build outlay was 20 hours a week which suggests it took me 2000 hours building and mulling over. I estimate the parts count to be around 2750. My own financial outlay was less than £200 for the Revell kit, paint, consumables etc. On top of that you have to consider the Etch sets which cost approx £300. I was fortunate that they were, in the main, kindly donated.

Expensive yes, and time draining, but there was hardly any time I wasn’t enjoying it and at a hourly expenditure of 25p/25c (other currencies are available) it’s cheap entertainment.

Not much natural light this time of year. On top of that I just have the iPad for taking pictures and it’s a big piece of plastic. I bought a couple of lights but I’m not a photographer that’s for sure.

Thanks to everyone who has dropped by this gallery, for the looks, likes and comments I am grateful of your time.

Just before Christmas I ordered a case for this one which is a first for me. I enjoy the building but I’m not to fussed about my kits after that as a rule. I’ll, let you know how it looks in its new box in about 6 weeks.

Happy New Year

Paul

Wow, just  . . . .  WOW!  I've got to go back and look at this all over again. What <fill-in-the-blank> said about it, well deserving of all the praise shown here sir.
