Nearly as good as mine....................................................................NOT:(

If that's in his attic, then just how big is his bloody attic:blink:

Ours(railway layout that is)is about 8' by 2' 6",so just a tad smaller than Rodders' creation.

What a waste of money.
Just think of all the drugs he could have blown his money on like a proper rock star!

Not jealous, honest, not a single grape is sour.

Pffft. I get paid to play with my 1:1 scale set. Bet Rod doesn’t get to spend his days filling in forms for this and that and getting calls from the delays clerks.

I remember when this came up some time back earlier this year. On the forum/board someone said they knew one of the guys that worked for a limo service that drove him around on one of his tours. Instead of hitting up hot spots like a rock star, he ran about scouring hobby shops, etc. His US tours were his buying sprees. If memory serves, someone scoured a photo of him getting out of a limo, and in the seat, you could barely see a copy of Model Railroader sitting in the seat. :)

Reminded me of one of George Best's best quotes  "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."
