SigEp Ziggy 159
One of many 'work in progress' builds. I plan on modifying the Revell 1/570 HMS Titanic to resemble the wreck discovered in 1986.

Have you been to the Belfast 'Titanic' exhibition? It's a superb display starting off with the usual (boring) boards on walls to read, getting better and better as you go through the exhibition, culminating in an amazing multi-media 'show' at the end. Not seen it? Go. Not to be missed. And the Guinness in Belfast is nearly as good as Dublin's!
SigEp Ziggy 159
Thanks Guys! My son visited the exhibition just two months ago! The Titanic broke in two when sinking, so I started there. Edited November 16 by SigEp Ziggy

Good idea, yes, that's sensible, I thought you meant as found in 1986 - lot of weathering for that look! I've had a notion for a while to do a conversion to Titanic's sister ship, the Britannic hospital ship sunk in the Aegean during WW1. I think the wreck is still there in relatively shallow waters. I'd love to go down to have a look at the wreck - but not smart, since I can't swim!

SigEp Ziggy 159
Cool video! The Titanic was heavily damaged, so I chose this model as it available and inexpensive.
