Mad Steve 25,051
Evening Everyone Absolutely yonks ago, probably prior to 2010, I saw these two little jobbies in a toy shop and had to have them. The idea was to take them apart and refurb them into half decent shelf queens. The only reason I've bought this up now is I found the box they were hiding in on Monday Right, we have; 1930 Indian 4 (Inline 4 engine) 1924 Indian Scout Sport Both are 1/12th scale and were made by New-Ray, a far eastern diecast car maker. Both are Die Cast metal and plastic. The detail isn't that bad, but it can be improved on. How I'll go about this I don't know, but no doubt, it will be a laugh This will be a very off again, on again affair, so don't expect instant results
Hutch6390 3,293
I freely admit I know nowt about motorbikey things, but I think a couple of pin washes and some dry brushing would be quite enough - they look pretty good as they are
Gorby 21,593
Interesting idea. I agree with Hutch that a bit of dry brushing and a pin wash might help. Are you intending to completely repaint them?
RWG686 40,517
As said above, with the addition of some cables and wires. The saddlebags on the Scout really are the giveaway that it's a toy. A bit of detail painting there alone would I think improve things.
Mad Steve 25,051
Nope, not going to repaint them, not the bodywork any The Saddlebags might be hoofed, if not repainted.
