Drichc 720 Posted October 25 Report Share Posted October 25 Not going this year. The guy I go with will be sunning himself in Australia, or getting eaten by saltwater crocodiles! And If I'm truly honest I didn't really enjoy last year that much anyway. Without the majority of the overseas traders some of the atmosphere has gone, plus I found the large open space in the middle hall rather depressing. Telford for me has always been a shopping trip for deals, or stuff I can't normally get easily. I spent very little at the show as deals were few and far between on stuff I was interested in. I wanted the 1/200 Yamato, but sadly I could have got it a lot cheaper online (I noticed all were still available at pack up on Sunday!). Maybe that was a good thing though as It's erm...er.... at best sort of a Yamato! But hopefully the peeps going will have a great time. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

He's a member of the Romsey Model Club and is a good mate of mine and my former "Man Wednesday" at shows lol. I don't think he's going this year but is trying to get me to go next year with him. See him occasionally at club-nights (although he doesn't wear the pirate hat normally).... @TeeELL Sorry I missed you. I must have been on a wander. I didn't have anything new to display this year (long story), so my incentive to stay on the stand was low. I still think we need our own badges or something so we can spot fellow "All-Scale-Modellers" at shows etc? Just saying.
