I'll need to go over the decals with paint first as I suspect that there will be a lot of silvering despite the varnish I put on. Once that's done I will give it a couple of coats of Winsor & Newton's acrylic matt varnish.
Huntsman’s Close 842
Woooooooohhhhhhhh! Hate to see a Jaguar go to waste. If you need: - Airfix 54 Sq chequerboard (got some spare) - Hasegawa main gear doors (should be able to cast some) I just might have the very thing. Just say the word and I’ll have a look tomorrow.

Don't worry about the doors thanks. I've made the nose ones and will dummy up the main ones.

RWG686 37,798
The new decals applied. I started work on the nose probe and once all that is dry and painted the whole airframe will get a coat of matt varnish. Hopefully that will tone down the gun area which looks a wee bit bright.

Hutch6390 2,941
Looking great, Richard (takes me back to building one in ATC days, and watching PR films of them in "action" )
RWG686 37,798
I've always liked the Jaguar and this planted the seed for another one so I've already laid down a kit and some extra bits. The problem with that is that I'll really need to up my game since that @Jag Mate chap will be on my case if I mess it up.
