Recommendations from your library

Recommended Posts

How about a database of publications we own, anything from published plans to reference books on individual types, manufacturers, histories, biographies or technical specifications. Once we know a book is owned by a member here we can inquire after research details we need to begin or complete a build project.

My first recommendation for those with an interest in post war British military aviation I strongly definitely positively absolutely completely (add a further list of affirmative adverbs here) this great volume by James Hamilton Patterson, this is the  Illustrated version, there is also a small paperback too

Honestly, how is this helping?

It makes people laugh and that's a good thing in my book. We could all do with a good laugh occasionally - particularly at the moment.

Incidentally, there is already a what are you reading thread which allows members to recommend books. I'll see if I can find it.

Okay. I'll join in the fun, I made the mistake of thinking some things were a bit more serious but I get it now

So, anything goes . . . I best get started! Ha!

It's interesting how there are those who get it and those that don't, vigilance needed to avoid becoming a humourless bunch of pedants like the place most of us escaped from.

It's a case of 'a time and place for everything' I suppose, there are some things that are more important to some and not others, drawing a distinct line everyone can follow would be impossible, in the same way it would be all to easy for a place to fall into chaos and become unusable.

I don't envy those who have to make the rules in an attempt to reach consensus, knowing what's allowed and what isn't in the context of banter humor and all manner of silliness is conjectural at best, for example, there a very sexual reference in this thread, i really don't like that at all, for me, and that is just me, that's unacceptable and if it was more prevalent I wouldn't be here.

I've decided to post a piccie of a kitten in every post i make, is that okay?
