1/56 Afrika Korps Tanks and Other Vehicles

I've recently been busy painting Afrika Korps Vehicles. These are all 1/56 (or 28mm) for the Bolt Action wargame. There is an Opel Blitz truck, an SdKfz 222 armoured car, SdKfzz 250/3 Command halftrack (Rommel), Panzer IIIN and Panzer IV F2.  The Pz IV is the most excellent Rubicon kit and the others are from Warlord games, which for the most part are quite nice too The Pz III is made for Warlord by Italeri and is probably the least good kit (I think the gun looks too long)

I like those, too - especially Rommel's half track (memories of the 1/32 Airfix kit!), and I agree with you, the Mk III's barrel is way too long (pass me ze hacksaw, Hans! ).  Nice work, Mike

Thanks - it's the longer L60 gun but yeah a bit too long, it's similar to the 75 on the Pz IV
