mac1677 442 Report post Posted June 7 (edited) Hi chaps, After the demise of the HP O/400 and the Spitfire, I decided it was time for an AFV, so having bought this a while ago at a show decided it needed building. So here she is, could have done much better and am kicking myself, but also happy that I finished a kit, anyhoo...pictures: Thanks for looking in Edited June 19 by mac1677 Title correction

Paul Brown 1,071 Report post Posted June 7 Extremely cool and lovely finishing with chipping, staining and different patina. I've got one or two of these kits, I'm somehow hooked on them and the idea of paper panzers is intriguing. One of the kits I have is the E100 with V-1 and launcher, I'm looking at options on the V-1 - it may be something other than a V-1! Still waiting for the flakturm to arrive.

mac1677 442 Report post Posted June 8 (edited) Thank you chaps 👍 Paul, this was the E-100 heavy tank boxing, but as you get many, many spares, I decided to make mine as a Waffentrager. I am definitely going to build more and have been looking at the V-1 version too. Edited June 8 by mac1677
Paul Brown 1,071 Report post Posted June 8 They've been very savvy with the way they mix and match the different sprues to provide different kits and options and the wonderful thing is you get lots of spare parts. They use the Rheintochter launcher for the V-1 kits, which means you're left with a Rheintochter and you're usually left with a spare turret from the tank chassis with the launcher kits. I'm on the lookout for a spare barrel so I can use a turret to mount on a casemate or emplacement.
