My thoughts : How the hell does @USAAF get such good photos? Where are all the lumpy bits guaranteed to be found in any of my close ups? Just read this one from the start. Excellent work so far Brian. 1

USAAF 1,172
Spent the last few day doing lots of work on the P-47 . Decided to glue the brass gun barrels and brass pitot tube on the Thunderbolt before painting it. Sometime trying to glue bass barrel on a Thunderbolt after model is painted can be a pain . The prop also got painted and pics provided of paints i used . Next gloss coat and Thundercal stencils to be applied. 24F86B0B-ED98-4A77-B6C2-BE2F8BFDAC37 by b007scott, on Flickr AC196593-485E-43B9-BA0C-B69B797C0A9E by b007scott, on Flickr 47748BB8-6E37-4E33-81DE-9D8D8B10EE43 by b007scott, on Flickr 1A857948-CD0E-4209-ACDF-A0D49A03520E by b007scott, on Flickr 2B1C4C26-4492-4CCE-9209-1DA017871430 by b007scott, on Flickr Brian

USAAF 1,172
Well now that both boom are done (33 parts per boom ) I started geeting the rest of the main airframe assembled . The fit on this kit is unreal . Just sad we had to wait so many years for Tamiya to come out with one .
