Some great ones there. I particularly like the couple of shots from the Aleutians and the A-20 Havocs coming in low over the Stuart tanks.
Nice me thinks the catalina was lost lol
Cool pictures Richard, like the japenese ones 👍
and some more
Some rare & interesting subjects there, and most of excellent clarity and quality.
Thanks for those excellent photos Richard.
The first photo of this batch led me to Neil Page's interesting FalkeEins site where he discusses the Ju 290 shown above. Apparently it was flown to the US after the war and then scrapped in 1946.
I do like the jets in the last photo - Grumman Cougars? A display with one of those, a Grumman Panther, and a McDonnell Phantom 1, hmmmmm. Another project for "maybe one day"
A selection of USAF Douglas A-1 Skyraiders in Vietnam
I do love that color image of the Avenger and the B-26. Nice Spad shots on that latest batch. I need to re-read My Secret War, about a Spad pilot flying Sandy missions and trail interdiction missions out of Thailand in the Vietnam War.
A few more.
Very nice finds Richard. I particularly like this one:
