Milan Mynar 1,193
Modeling World 2022 This weekend, the 23rd. and on July 24, a competitive modeling exhibition took place in small town in the Czech Republic, Velké Meziříčí at the Jupiter Club. Paper models, RC models, plastic models and more were on display. Visitors had the opportunity to try building paper models, play with the Merkur kit, or in the RC game room. All under the supervision of the exhibiting modellers. It was also possible to buy some useful trinkets and kits, of which there are never enough. The event is becoming traditional, it has already been held for the third year. various interesting manufacturers presented themselves. It is gratifying that something is happening in our field in our region of the Czech-Moravian Highlands, which is on the side of well-known modeling centers. What I saw fills me with mild optimism, families with children left with built or purchased models. So I probably won't go extinct like the dinosaurs. Here you are some photos from that event. 5

Gorby 12,916
That's a very impressive model show for a small town. Card kits aren't as popular in Britain, but I'm always amazed what is possible - it's sometimes difficult to decide with ones are card and which ones are plastic. I like the look of those building kits - I've not seen them before. Just had a look at their web site and I'm very tempted to make an order: https://modelovedomeckyspalek.cz/?lang=en
