Do you use magnification

No.  It's something I've never been able to do.

Managed with just my normal specs.

Your eyesight must be a lot better than mine then.

It's my own fault, I was told it would make me go blind. :blushing:

Your eyesight

I wear bifocals but they aren't very strong prescription.

The model magnifier has the same effect on me as did my attempt at varifocals.  Depth perception went all to cock and I ended up walking like the guy out of 'Ministry of Silly Walks'

There is no way on earth that you can plumb a 1/72 Nimbus engine exactly. Don't tell anybody but some of the wires are 0.0000001 inches out of place. (in other words just stuck in to look busy)

Just as well you aren't posting this on the other place, otherwise they would be erecting the gallows.

Works for me. A few years ago my close vision returned to something like normal, so I can read and do close work without specs, but for tiny things like 1/72 cockpits and painting figures these have become invaluable. The trick is choosing a lens magnification that works at whatever distance you're working from. It made me a bit doolally initially, but if you stick with it everything normalises.

I can’t see any pictures!

Is it possible to try a different web browser. I sometimes find there are things I can't see on Chrome which I can in Firefox.
