The owner was telling me that the design was heavily influenced by Lambretta.

It sure is. Although I'm not into the mod thing I'd ride that scoot, although to be honest when it comes to retro these little Mash caff racers take some beating.

This made me sit up and pay attention. Looks rather nice.

Bloody hairdryer.

Give me a 650 Tiger 110/ Bonnie or a 650 Beeza Gold Flash/Thunderbolt/Lightning,I'd sort that thing out.

650 Bonnie:

Triumph Bonneville

Beeza A65 Lightning

1969 BSA A65L Lightning

Proper Rocker's bikes.

I have black leathers, black helmet and a white silk scarf. My credentials are impeccable, although to be fair I prefer an across the frame four to a twin. But I'd still ride the scoot (even Ogri did on one occasion).

Aha!!,a man after my own heart there in the riding attire stakes Mr Broon apart from when riding Yamaha off road iron/trail bikes, then it's motocross togs and Sidi boots.

Closest I've ever come to an across the frame four is a Triumph Trident T150 BITD,apart from that it's always been

Triumph twins and Yamaha two strokes.

Think my dear Dad would've hit the roof if I'd have turned up on a Beeza,he always said that BSA stood for

"Bits Stuck Anywhere" or "Better Scrap Available".

He reckoned my Yamaha two strokes "sang a song between 80 and 90"xD.
