The eyes look fantastic. They're decals as recommended by Anil @azuregloa while ago. Tricky to work with but better than trying to paint with my eyesight. A bit more fizzog done and testing out a hair colour.

skwonk 7,077
Hair almost done. A base on the shirt which needs lightening. Hair done. A wash of oil over it followed by subtle highlights. Started on the tie as well.

skwonk 7,077
Dry brushed highlights over the tunic and belt. Adding some 'whitey' bits now. Those wings are a series of base, wash, highlight etc. They look a bit mucky at present at this stage.

skwonk 7,077
Almost there. Still not completely happy with those wings though.
Gorby 12,916
I think it looks great – including the wings. Are you going to do any more on the hair. At the moment it looks like the jet black dyed hair of an ageing man who thinks that it'll distract you from noticing that their face needs a damn good ironing. Errrr...Richard Hammond for example. skwonk 7,077
The hair is very dark brown with an oil wash in the crevices and dry brushed highlights along the extremities. It always looks black whichever angle I photograph it in. I'll do some close ups in the gallery when done.
