dixieflyer 2,414
I love Venturas. A workhorse of the USN in WWII that gets little attention or love.
Jessie_C 8,248
If you're looking for alternative paint schemes, I've got several Aviaeology sheets for USN and RCAF Venturas. Sheet 1, 2, 3 & 4. These were review samples, so I won't charge anything. If you're interested, please let me know

USAAF 866
Spent the morning working on the Vector resin props . Clean up was really easy. I used three different sized drill bits to drill the hole out for the prop shaft. The fit was a lille tight so i used a Tamiya snading spongs to sand the kit prop shaft and the fit was better. Now to was the prop and spray some primer B21D586D-02F2-49E7-A7D9-ABA1724DD4AC by b007scott, on Flickr D5B9EE07-5D8C-4276-AC00-87B2BD4D1C4F by b007scott, on Flickr 18B97970-B0A5-4587-8BAF-C514F8149FC3 by b007scott, on Flickr 31D21764-7455-4DF1-AD4A-7CBD6A0E4D2F by b007scott, on Flickr Brian

USAAF 866
Spent the last few days assembling the airframe and sanding it . The Identifaction light was installed as a clear piece in the bottm and painted with Tamiya clear coloers. Once dry its still looked to trasnlucent . So made a little trangle box witha flat side undernieghth and sprayed it with Tamiya LP-11 . Glued it in and much better results . Next to install the bomb doors shut .
