While I was away

Recommended Posts

A few photos of 1/16 figures I did whilst 'in the shadows' so to speak. Original photos taken on my phone so will probably be a bit ropey. Particularly like the ICM Viking and White Walker. Would recommend them. Good luck trying replicate the eye colour on the latter though. Someone will one day no doubt. The Mini Art Roman was a bit of a bu**er at times. The seams on the limbs took much filling and rubbing.

Just a couple of images of each so as not to overload.

how did you do the stubble on the German soldier?

Common mistake to think that German soldiers had stubble on their chins.
It was actually zimmerit

Good stuff Swonk!  Sweet collection of figures.
The Viking is probably my fave.
Am thinking ICM now need to do a Saxon!

Got to ask mate how did you do the stubble on the German soldier? They look great by the way

Ground up pastels (not the fruit variety) applied with a worn out micro brush.

I quite like the Viking also. I'm with you on the Anglo Saxon or an Ancient Briton would be nice.

Cheers all.
