Norman 50
O.K here is a build i have been working on for quite some time, it is an FM kit and as such ...well....agricultural and seeing as i am anal when it comes to surface detail and seams it has taken a while to get to the stage of painting, the plastic is 'pebbly' and engraved detail in need of reinforcing, what is good is the resin cockpit and undercart bays It is ugly yes but i wanted one made ! i have made their 1/48 Hampden and although difficult the end result was very well worth it so am hoping for the same here The Beginning http:// http:// http:// http:// Unsure how many pics i can include in a single post so will begin another directly Cheers Norm
Norman 50
Part Two On with Stynylrez black primer which i like as its very thin and covers well, then some AK Stainless Steele paint which will for the base for further shades and slight weathering, since the last photo was taken i found blemishes which needed eradication and will repaint soon http:// http:// http:// Until next time Cheers Norm

Norman 50
Thanks for the positive replies, ive just finished selling house, renting for a few months , buying and settling into another and have just today pulled the kit along with a few others under construction out and have been working on them, the Grognard has had seat done, intake remodelled and pesky seams revisited and now i am putting wiring at back of instrument panel and behind pilots area then i will close and seal cockpit so i can paint her, undercarriage is painted and is actually very nicely detailed, unlike most of the kit ! pics next !

Caravellarella 14
Dear Boys & Girls, the S.N.C.A.S.E Grognard prototypes were so "fat" to accommodate two Rolls-Royce Nene engines; one above the other...... This is the S.N.C.A.S.E SE.2415 Grognard II (© DR Collection de Narbonne)...... Terry (Caravellarella) Edited March 27, 2017 by Caravellarella
