BlackMike Models 8,897
Less than 2 weeks to go until we kick off the model show season in Scotland. Is anyone else here intending on going to the show? Should we consider an All Scale Modeller group photo if so? Duncan B

Che Guava 3,458
Well, just one week to go - my daily exercise regime has moved up a gear and the weight lifting is starting to show results. Not exactly 'ripped' yet, but slightly torn at least, 'cos, plastic kits might be light, but a ton of plastic is still nearly as heavy as a ton of feathers. Plus I'll have to help carry @RWG686's wallet as well as all his 'I'm not buying anything today' purchases. 1

If you are struggling with @RWG686's wallet I will have a trolley you can borrow to get it from the car park (you won't need it for the return trip). Things are starting to take shape here at BlackMike Model Towers. Most of the kits now have price tags on them! (I hadn't bothered over the last 2 years so had literally hundreds of kits to tag and seal up). Last minute stock purchases are arriving and being put into the inventory. All our gadgets we use to take sales have had their apps updated or have actually been replaced with newer bits of kit. Today the van is getting a wash and a hoover out (another thing that hadn't been done in 2 years!!). The last thing to do will be to get all the little things like carrier bags, snacks, hand wash (that's a new one) and Jaffa cakes. A practice pack has already taken place, didn't fully load up but enough to see how much room we had (it's been so long we had forgotten how many boxes the van actually took!). We are still taking pre-orders for collection at the show. Duncan B p.s. I am finding kits that my inventory said I had sold out of, little wonder I'm so skint if half my stock isn't actually on the website!! (half is obviously a huge exaggeration) Edited May 8 by BlackMike Models

RWG686 23,546
Now to the serious stuff. Alan and I had a great day out. It was good see so many friends again. I will only comment on the first three pictures and will just add the rest after I have finished editing. Thread will be picture heavy. Start with a sadly departed subject shown here in 1/144 scale. All of these models were made by converting the Airfix Old Bill bus. and my favourite model from the show Made from the Airfix 1/32 Triumph Herald.
Gorby 11,982
The Herald dio is my fave as well. A couple of the WWI biplanes look particularly amazing as well. Looks like it turned out to be a good show – was it back to pre bat flu levels? Thanks for taking the time to post to pics Richard.

I didn't think so but I will let @BlackMike Models answer that as he was going to be there both days. I'm sorry that I missed @Jens H. Brandal and @sovereignhobbies. dixieflyer 2,893
@RWG686, I've seen conversions of the Old Bill bus for the army pigeon loft, but I haven't seen the others done. I'd have loved to have seen that in person.
