Paul Brown 6,276
I've been following this thread with the occasional giggle, because me old dad arranged his own funeral and organised a horse drawn hearse. It was typical of the old boy to embarrass his offspring right to the very end, it seemed like the whole village turned out to watch and every man and his dog was out in their front garden pointing at the old fashioned hearse, with it's black horses and ostrich feather plumes and pipers marching in front. People asked 'was he Scottish?' and we're going no, he just liked pipes. Very East End, except he couldn't have been more Essex if he tried. He would have loved this.

Sprocket 6,337
Excellent Horse drawn model Kevin, you've got the paint and decoration just right. The whole thing looks very dignified. I'd like to see how you're planning to display the finished model.

Mad Steve 16,003
Ahhhhhh... another one in the Wives Doll House Club 😬 My wife never complains about my stash, if she does, I take her by the hand up to her hobby room / office to her 3, yes 3 floor to ceiling cupboards full to the brim with every conceivable piece of furniture and doll house thing and just point at it and smile....
