Revell 1/25th '78 GMC Big Game Country Pick Up

A family of four could live for a month off the masking tape you wasted there. :ermm:

Looking good so far (dragging my mind away from the horror of your masking tape usage). It's starting to look like a remote control truck.

Evenin all...

Aaaye this thing is fighting me.

Ok firstly, dashboard is finished.

i made the curly wurly wire and end bit for the cb radio.

What im fighting with is a typical 1978 Revell kit. The chasis is skew, the loadbed is skew and the cab is skew... so i suppose putting all three bent bits together might make it straight 😬

Trying to straighten up the cab, note the use of very expensive straigtening tools 😬

the battle continues 😬

Sounds a lot like the real thing, to be honest...

Afternoon Everyone :)

In yesterdays moan, I was telling you about how the chassis, load bed and cab was skew....

I managed to sort the loadbed out and that seemed to sort the chassis out... and then realised that the reason the cab was skew, was because I had glued the cab interior skewiff....

sooooooo

It actually all fits together nicely. Yeah ok the front and rear cheatlines don't exactly match up, but its a GMC, so its 100% accurate :)
