And Tornadoes, lots and lots of Tornadoes….  Oh and Jaguars, lots and lots…

I can't argue there ,who doesn't love the Jaguar, but  to people my age they are modern jets

If I'm honest, there really isn't an aircraft I dislike . Of course there are some I am less fond of.   @BlackMike Modelsand @Grunhertz and others love those 109 thingies.... guess what?....I don't :stirthepot:

And this is a sign that things are bad, usually I'd pick up a 109 or a 190 and off I'd go, mojo restored but I finished a hase 1/32 109 k4 (after the f series the next good looking) and nah Nada nowt not a thing. Like Duncan I blame the flanker, I put so much effort into that build that it drained me for a while

Time is an issue, so ive been running my own business for 18 months, now I'm working with Sean at TopNotch to get things moving over there again (long story) so have a  huge plotter cutter and pc in the conservatory, I guess I'm just burnt out at the moment.

Oh and f105

Yep, I know that story well enough, when a hobby becomes a business it takes a lot of the fun right out of it. I am also sure it's the effort I've put into the GWH Flanker that has caused my burn out. It's not a bad kit, quite the opposite, it's a great kit but you feel compelled to give it your all (same thing with the Wingnuts Albatros).

Add to that my confidence has taken a huge hit too

Having seen your work I'd say you have much to be confident of but understand that may be an over-simplification of the situation.

But my mojo fluctuates wildly,

You can get a cream for that now, it says apply liberally and rub in well

Just doesn't say where?

I tried few places with mixed results!

on microwave warmed strawberries was quite good!

I forced myself into the modelling cave yesterday but couldn't face decaling so dragged a box out that contained a Gloster Javelin, long stalled. It's been converted back to an FAW5 and was in the middle of being rescribed when it stalled so I spent a wee while scribing small hatches onto the fin. Not much of a result but a small step forward I suppose.

Having seen the complexity of your builds I think it would help you to do a quick, easy and preferably silly build. My mojo goes MIA when I try to get too involved in super-detailing for months on end.

Wasn't it you who built an egg plane (He-177?) a good few years ago and it did your mojo no end of good.

Egg planes, including that He-177, have come to my rescue a few times now so it's not a bad idea at all.

How much of this modelling did you perform exactly and how much of it was on a Phantom? :o

Shhh! @RWG686

That's because they wouldn't let him loose on the Senior Service version....thought he spend all of his time watching the pretty lights underneath.....

I worked on plenty of the (ex) Senõr Service ones, because they were the ones that were always broken (Secondhand, ‘one careful lady owner’).
