Looked like a great day migs

Sure was Darren, they pulled all the stops out and ticked a lot of boxes.

The only downside(apart from the problems of not getting the grandaughters there too>:()was the news that Pete Teichman,

the man that owns "The Hangar 11 Collection" ,has decided to hang up his air display hat.

Not only a nice bloke,Pete is(for me anyway)one of the  best warbird display pilots in the UK at the moment.

Great day, and grand shots - thanks for sharing them. I managed to see some of the show (heard most) as was on the Typhoon Restoration Project stand. But got to see the MiG, Reds and BBMF fully, so I was a happy lad

Sad news about Peter, have had the great opportunity to meet him many times - often at North Weald with his charges - I hope this doesn't mean the end of the collection

Cheers Mutt,you're most welcome.

I wish you'd have said you were on the Tiffie stand, the lad and I had a cursory glance, but if I'd have known you were there I'd have

button holed Debs and sauntered over.

It is a blow to the display circuit about Pete,I don't think he's got plans to sell anymore off(the P40 has gone sadly),

he does seem to be looking forward to flying the Russian airforce lend-lease Spit IX he's having rebuilt.
