Gold or Platinum plated? I've seen a few listings on fleabay recently with ridiculous prices shown for kits that are generally available and by no means special editions.

Don't know what makes it special apart from the paint scheme. Note that their other three 1/72 Eurofighters are between £26.50 and £28 but also note that Revell do a couple of these things a year always at crazy prices.

So it's not just a regular plastic kit, however that's a lot of dosh for some PE and trinkets to go with it. I understand that the scheme itself is accomplished purely by the use of decals, so it will be a very trick decal sheet. I can confirm that the RRP is 99.99, so Jadlam are offering it at a significant discount - they probably recognise that not many people are going to cough up £100 for a 1/72 Typhoon, no matter how much bling you throw in with it. I certainly won't be.
