BlackMike Models 9,315
I haven't heard anything bad about the fit of this kit at all. Seems like ICM are now a million miles away from the days of the 1/72 Do215B kit (I still have nightmares about that one). Col, you know you want one........ USAAF 1,227
1/48 ICM Mig-25 RBT 90% of the airframe assembled. Is is pretty good there are a few tricky area like the nose section ,intake to bulk head was kinda a pain . Little Vallejo filler required in a few areas. More final sanding tonight . Need to get some weight for the nose bottom to be installed . I do have to say the fit of the ICM kit is WAY better then the Kitty Hawk kit by a long shot .. Col. 7,396
Smart work Brian, from what I've read and seen everything about the ICM kit is quite a way better than the ShittyHawk one, guessing you'll be ready to paint this one shortly?
Grunhertz 17,460
Liking this one Brian and with my attraction for Russian Cold War aircraft at the moment there may be one of these coming my way
USAAF 1,227
Last of exterior parts glued . Time to finish the cockpit and get some primer on her. Got some Mr. Paint coming for her. Stay tuned my friends Brian
BlackMike Models 9,315
Mr. Paint is some of the best paint I've ever used, I really like the stuff. I have the complete range of Luftwaffe colours from them and know the have a huge range of other colours too. Both your Migs are going to look amazing on the shelf when completed. Madhatter Mk2 706
I always inwardly tip my hat to the pilots of these Russian machines - as beautiful as some of them are, they also look incredibly scary to fly Another worthy subject to follow
